LUERIA ROSSO

ROSSO is made mainly of Italian varieties (70% Sangiovese, Barbera 20%) complemented by the finest varieties in every vintage year. The grapes grow at high altitude and in the unique terroir, spread at the foothills of Mount Meron in Upper Galilee – a privileged location which enables the grapes to mature slowly over time, and thus acquire their special quality. The attributes of the land, known already to residents in Talmudic times, gave a name to the village of Sifsaf – in Aramaic, a region where fruit mature late. The grapes are tended and harvested by hand.

The wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels and bottled without filtration.
