LUERIA In the heart of the Upper Galilee on the western slopes at the foot of Mount Meron at an altitude of 840 to 890 meters, Yosef Saida, a descendant of a family of farmers, planted the grape vineyards of the winery Spread over about 180 dunams Kerem Yosef’s uniqueness is expressed in a rare combination of layers of basalt soil, terra rosa and limestone in one piece. The structure of the soil in the vineyard, its great height, the drained soil, the unique climate in the area, the irrigation methods with advanced technology, organic fertilization (compost from self-production), create excellent conditions for growing quality wine grapes. Yosef Saida devotes his full effort every day in order to make the most of the vineyard, many wineries want to harvest the wine grapes from Kerem Yosef, to complete the quality and prestigious series. The quality of the grapes in Kerem Yosef is known and every year wines made from the vineyards receive praise and awards.
